IDL Scripting Extension 1.2.0rc1 has been released on November 8th, 2010.
This release is the first release candidate for 1.2.0. This release is marked as "not for production". The current plan is to allow one week for the community to validate this release. If you find any major issues please report them to our bug and issue tracker. If no major issues have been identified by November 24th, then creation of 1.2.0 will proceed. Currently, 1.2.0 is scheduled to be available on November 30th and it will be a production release and can be used to create production products. Please download and validate this release to help ensure 1.2.0 is a great release!
This version of the IDL Scripting Extension only supports Opticks 4.5.X. If you want a version of IDL Scripting extension for use with Opticks 4.4.X, you must download an earlier version of this extension.

New Features
- This release has been updated to work with the new changes to the Scripting Window. (EXTRAS-116)
- The existing "IDL Interpreter" wizard item is now deprecated, please use "Run Interpreter Commands".
- You can now paste multi-line comments into the Scripting Window
- Error and output text from IDL are now displayed in the Scripting Window, previously only error text would have been shown if both were printed out.
- When executing IDL code in a wizard the error return code was set depending on whether any error text was printed. Now, the error return code is set based upon whether !ERROR_STATE was set.
Supported Opticks Versions
- This extension is supported in any version of Opticks 4.5.X that is Opticks 4.5.0rc1 or later.
