This release is the second release candidate for 4.5.0. This release is marked as "not for production". The current plan is to allow five days for the community to validate this release. If you find any major issues please report them to our bug and issue tracker. If no major issues have been identified by November 24th, then creation of 4.5.0 will proceed. Currently, 4.5.0 is scheduled to be available on November 30th and it will be a production release and can be used to create production products. Please download and validate this release to help ensure 4.5.0 is a great release!
The Opticks 4.5.0rc2 release is binary incompatible with any 4.4.X release. Any extensions built for Opticks 4.4.X will need to be re-built against 4.5.0rc2 in order to work with any 4.5.X release. Once an extension has been built against 4.5.0rc2, it will continue to work without changes on any later 4.5.X release.

Bug Fixes
- A bug in the statistics display was fixed where activation of a statistics plot while in RGB display mode caused the red, green, and blue histogram tabs to disappear. This bug was introduced in 4.5.0rc1. (OPTICKS-1081)
- The tabs in the Scripting Window will now properly update real-time as output and error text is generated. (OPTICKS-1076)
- A remaining bug when using the Movie Exporter with a default resolution of Use View Resolution was fixed. (OPTICKS-1044)
Extension Developer Changes
- The MovieExporter/Width and MovieExporter/Height configuration options have changed. They are now int types instead of unsigned int. The default values are now -1 which have the same meaning as the previous 0 values and indicate that the resolution of the exported view should be used. If you override these options in a .cfg file you will need to change the type attribute to int. (OPTICKS-1044)
