Python Scripting Extension 1.3.0rc1 has been released on Februrary 25th, 2011.
This release is the first release candidate for 1.3.0. This release is marked as "not for production". The current plan is to allow one week for the community to validate this release. If you find any major issues please report them to our bug and issue tracker. If no major issues have been identified by March 7th, then creation of 1.3.0 will proceed. Currently, 1.3.0 is scheduled to be available on March 15th and it will be a production release and can be used to create production products. Please download and validate this release to help ensure 1.3.0 is a great release!
This version of the Python Scripting Extension only supports Opticks 4.6.X. If you want a version of Python Scripting extension for use with Opticks 4.5.X, you must download an earlier version of this extension.

New Features
- The Python scripting extension will now load and allow you to change the configuration options even if Python has not been installed on your system. No python code can be executed however until Python is installed on your system. (EXTRAS-151).
Bug Fixes
- The legacy wizard item to execute Python scripts has been removed. Both new and existing wizards should use the Run Interpreter Commands wizard item instead. (EXTRAS-150)
- Two potential crashes relating to session save and restore have been resolved. (EXTRAS-142, EXTRAS-148)
Supported Opticks Versions
- This extension is supported in any version of Opticks 4.6.X that is Opticks 4.6.0rc1 or later.
