Summary
Google Summer of Code applications are closed. We received 17 applications which made the final list and have picked our initial choices for the 2 student slots we have received. We still need to deconflict with other projects so we will not announce yet. Keep an eye out on the developer's mailing list and the news feed for an announcement as soon as everything is finalized.
A list of third party dependency upgrades planned for the next release will be posted to dev@opticks.ballforge.net. Please mention any problems these upgrades might cause so they can be resolved early.
