Summary
All three Google Summer of Code students are making good progress on their projects. More information is available in the developer's mailing list.
The next meeting will return to the normal Monday time slot on June 13.
Decisions
A straw poll indicates that we should proceed with the CMake and SDK redesign projects using the general design kstreith proposed. A couple of developers have minor concerns and suggestions about implementation details which can be discussed while implementing the changes.

2011-05-31T14:02:52 <dsulgrov> here
2011-05-31T14:03:04 <tclarke> anything else re: GSoC?
2011-05-31T14:03:54 <tclarke> ok, kstreith isn't here to discuss cmake and the SDK but I'd like to open the meeting for people to raise concerns, etc. since we've had a couple of weeks to think about this
2011-05-31T14:04:21 <tclarke> most of my concerns are fairly detailed implementation details which don't need to occur right now
2011-05-31T14:04:47 <sbmiller> I've talked to kstreith offline about it a decent amount, and I think most of the proposed changes would overall be beneficial
2011-05-31T14:04:53 <tclarke> I believe we are moving forward with this work since there have been no negative opinions expressed and a few positives
2011-05-31T14:05:50 <tclarke> let's take a straw pole....please indicate if you are in favor or against the proposed idea...this is non-binding
2011-05-31T14:05:53 <tclarke> I'm in favor
2011-05-31T14:06:06 <sbmiller> I am in favor as well
2011-05-31T14:06:13 <rforehan> I'm in favor
2011-05-31T14:06:19 <mconsidi> yes
2011-05-31T14:06:20 <tclarke> obviously kstreith is in favor
2011-05-31T14:06:34 <dsulgrov> I am also in favor
2011-05-31T14:06:38 <tclarke> ok, seems like we are good to proceed...I'll inform kstreith....
2011-05-31T14:06:44 <tclarke> let's open the meeting to other issues
2011-05-31T14:06:57 <tclarke> if there's nothing else, we'll end quickly...I leave it open for a couple of minutes
2011-05-31T14:09:23 <tclarke> ok...we'll finish up then....the next meeting will be on the regular day
